So what's his personality?
Overly enthusiastic?
Overly everything?

I'm guessing he's the type that will do a lot more than what you originally asked him to, but may or may not actually accomplish the original task.
Like fixing a toaster becomes making some kind of super charged stun gun.

Something about him reminds me of the 1980s, but I'm not entirely sure which aspect.
And would someone mind explaining the father thing to me?

current chatter indicates she has multiple "imaginary friends" that influence her behavior.
She's apparently rooming with /ponychan/, who may or may not exist.

and I think most agree she enjoys being raped by /d/ due to being starved for any sort of physical intimacy, but /d/ finds her slightly annoying when she shouts pony names during climax.
Nothing a well placed tentacle doesn't fix though.

I don't actually think there is a character with the "annoying tryhard" archetype. The running joke with /mlp/ would go something like

>/mlp/ tries to be socially adjusted
>other character is wary, but allows /mlp/ to continue
>conversation turned to MLP, conversation ruined forever

I think her character fleshed out very accurately. She tries too hard to impress others and craves attention but turns them away with her hobbies. The relationship /mlp/ with other boards is accurately portrayed. Being related to /co/ but hated by him, at one time was very close to /b/, generally found to be annoying by other boards but will fawn over anyone who shows her the slightest bit of attention.
