/tg/ - Traditional Games (He's on the right in his angry marines shirt. The girl on the left is /x/, his waifu)

Gender/Physical Description: Dark brown hair coming down past his shoulders which he usually keeps tied in a ponytail. Brown eyes that some people claim they can see a "T" in one eye and a "G" in the other. Has light stubble. Thin, generally physically weak (But he as his moments, see below), pale from spending so much time in his basement playing D&D.

Personality/Habits/Hobbies/Behavior etc.: Friendly, slightly immature, a tad socially awkward, but not nearly to the degree as some would think. He's a bro to most people that get along well with him, though he is prone to infrequent, but violent fits of nerd rage. His hobbies are defined by his name; he loves all sorts of traditional games. He's played every single tabletop imaginable and knows the rules thereof inside out and backwards. Owns every possible model for games such as Warhammer, masterful painter, rages when he sees someone doing an inferior paint job or modeling job. All of his disposable income goes to his hobbies. Prone to ronriness, so when /x/ isn't around he's known to put on his robe and wizard hat. Is slightly transgendered and "wants to be the little girl." Has been caught crossdressing by /co/ and /x/ several times, and is known to collaborate with /a/ for such occasions.

Special Power: Nerd rage! Although he's normally scrawny and physically unimposing, /tg/, when enraged, can perform superhuman feats such as breaking down a door, surviving a 100 foot fall, taking a bullet and and stay standing, or pick up a car and throw it at someone (Though he usually just breaks tables in half). When he performs acts of nerd rage, he narrates himself as would a player in a tabletop game. Such things like "I break down the door!" "I make my fortitude save!" or "Strength check, natural twenty!"

Relationships: His best bro is /co/, they frequently bro the fuck up. They good enough friends to the point of giving each other backrubs when stressed (No homo, I think). Supposedly he had a short lived and unsuccessful relationship with /ck/ that didn't really end well. Now currently involved with /x/, whom he cares for deeply (As evident by saving her from /b/'s rape attempts on frequent occasions). Occasional rape victim of /d/, but hey, who isn't?

Job: Manager of a local game and hobby store that sells everything imaginable related to traditional games. Rages at stupid customers, breaks the limbs of people who break other people's models and don't pay for it, though is willing to teach most who ask nicely how to play any sort of game.

I think I got a good grasp of him. Discuss.

Ooh, that's a rather old description. I think we've been moving away from having the characters' name be incorporated in their design, so the TG eyes are probably gone for good.

Most of this is still current, although I'm not sure if the transgendered part stayed. /d/ and /tg/ have a pretty good relationship, so maybe that's where it can come in.

After more work was done on other characters, it was decided that /co/ would be the owner of what essentially amounts to a general nerd store, and /tg/ would be managing the non-electronic gaming section. He and /co/ are just bros, no homo.

When /tg/ was still discussing this idea, they considered having his special power be some sort of cyclical shapeshifting when he gets angry. There was something about a catgirl, and a bulkout form, and maybe some other forms, but only the bulkout form stayed.

Also, for accessories, although he's seldom drawn as such, he's supposed to have steampunk goggles around his neck (maybe he uses them for painting or something) and a red/yellow powerfist for his left hand.

Sometimes he puts his hair up in a ponytail, it kind of gets in the way.

(this is just me rambling, I've only been on /tg/ a couple years)
relationship with other boards (going through them as they appear at the top of the page):
/a/ - has a love for touhou, and pokemon and YGO have TCGs, so there's some common ground here, even though /tg/ often dismisses things as weeaboo.
/b/ - surprisingly, doesn't get as pissed off by /b/ as the other boards do. (/tg/ is proud of itself for being hard to troll, as troll threads usually turn into thoughtful discussion (ad vice versa))
/c/ - little/no interaction, even though /tg/ does occasionally have d'aww threads (cutebolds come to mind).
/d/ - probably the only blue board that likes /d/, there is a lot of common interest here (monstergirl threads, FATAL...)
/e/ - little/no interaction (gets all he could want from /d/)
/f/ - little/no interaction (even though they are both basement dwellers)
/g/ - "can it play dwarf fortress? yes? that's all I care about" there could a small overlap of interests, with steampunk casemodding? (iirc /tg/ came after old /g/ moved out so they won't have interacted)
/gif/ - little/no interaction (there aren't all that many d&d gifs...)
/h/ - again, nothing compare to /d/
/hr/ - "lrn2/resize your images"-- prefers photos that can fit on one screen.
/k/ - varies. Obviously some overlap in interest, what with POWER ARMOUR HURR DURR, but /k/ is much more interested in realistic weapons, compared to /tg/'s preference for obviously fantastic weapons. They'll often get pissed off at the same kind of thing though.
/m/ - fuck yeah, giant robots! so, some common ground
/o/ - "does it get me to the LGS? yes? that's all I care about" can't see much overlap of interests here
/p/ - sometimes will take photos that inspire /tg/'s campaign settings, but so long as a camera's gota macro mode /tg/ isn't all that bothered about what else it has. I can see /tg/ and /p/ getting on though.
/r/ - 1d4chan says they get on well (I've not read all the writefaggotry), /tg/ has more love for /rs/ I think though, he'd have to keep that quiet around /r/
/s/ - while nothing compares to /d/, the odd muscle girl thread suggests that /tg/ occasionally like to get his rocks off to things a little less eldritch than what /d/ offers.
/t/ - (i know next to nothing about /t/, I imagine they'd get on reasonably well)
/u/ - nothing compared to /d/
/v/ - /v/ is probably the only board that surpasses /tg/ in rage, and there are quite a few vidyagaems that /tg/ plays (DF, XCOM, DoW etc). /tg/ loves >implying almost as much as /v/ too.
/w/ - full of weeaboo bullshit (/tg/ is quite tsundere for anime (see /a/))
/wg/ - little/no interaction (ca't think of any reason for them to talk)
/i/ and /ic/ - /tg/ has a lot of drawfags. A lot. So they'd be able to chat shit about oekaki I suppose. I can imagine /i/ coming crying to /tg/ for reassurance after some harsh criticism from /ic/.
/cm/ - see /c/
/y/ - see /u/
/r9k/ - /r9k/ is just /b/ with manners and a top hat, /tg/ wouldn't have much reason to talk to them
/3/ - until 3d printers become commercially available I can't see /tg/ bothering /3/ much. If /3/ has one I can imagine /tg/ joking that he wants some terminators printed off or some such.
/adv/ - what /r9k/ used to be. /tg/ has a waifu and a job, so they wouldn't need to talk.
/an/ - "I ROLL A BEAR LORE CHECK!" or something. Would know them via /ck/ and /k/.
/cgl/ - occasional interaction (there's a thread about 40k cosplay every month or so). As for the EGL part, well, he has /d/.
/ck/ - well documented, no need to go on about it here.
/co/ - see /ck/.
/fa/ - can't see much interaction going on here.
/fit/ - little/no interaction. Musclegirl threads would be about it.
/int/ - Historical politics of some interest, it's IRL fluff for wargames.
/jp/ - can't see any interaction here.
/lit/ - /tg/ actually likes to read, so they'd get on.
/mu/ - there's occasionally a music thread on /tg/ but they aren't very frequent, so... I suppose they'd talk, but not very often.
/n/ - see /o/
/new/ - IRL politics? Not as interesting as 40k fluff
/po/ - given that papercraft tanks are still tourney-legal, there might be come interaction here. Both hobbies require a steady hand. They might borrow craft knives from each other or something.
/sci/ - nerdiness loves company. I can see them getting on well.
/sp/ - apart from blood bowl/"fantasy football" these two have zero in common
/toy/ - would understand the "ITS NOT A DOLL ITS AN ACTION FIGURE" rage, and has similar collecting/hoarding instincts.
/trv/ - can't see much interaction even when /trv/ is at home.
/tv/ - looking at /tv/'s front page right now, there's common interests (D9, firefly), so they'd get on I suppose.
/x/ - well documented <3
/rs/ - see /r/, I think they'd get on well.
as for text and hidden boards OHMYGOD I DONT CARE I've just spend like an hour pulling stuff out my ass

/tg/ sticks with /x/, /d/, and is bros with /co/. sometimes hangs out with /v/ and /a/, but not at the same time. sometimes runs games with /k/ playing in them, and might have battletech conversations with /m/. /toy/ probably looks up to him a bit.

Please don't give us power armor. If you're gonna give /k/ armor, at least make it be realistic. I would expect in the very least coming to /k/ and asking about armor.

>>58
Agreeing with that.
>> No. 61
/tg/'s not supposed to have a full power armor set, just a powerfist for the times he needs to smack somebody (i.e. it's not often he's wearing it)

/k/ would probably just have some sort of tactical bulletproof vest.

An interesting thing happened on /tg/ the other day, which was that /g/uro (in it's current place) showed up and offered /tg/ a place to stay should anything happen to the current board.

/tg/, of course, rejected /g/'s advances.

However, it strikes me as particularly interesting, and a great writing opportunity. /tg/ is with /x/, so what would happen if /g/ went all yandere for /tg/, and decided she wanted him to move out of the house and in with her?

This would be particularly interesting if she wouldn't take no for an answer, and wanted to get rid of /x/.

Bonus points if she's undead.

By the way, /g/uro was asked what they wanted their board avatar to look like once, and they unanimously said Nevada-tan.

Interesting that she's rather superficially like /x/.

Yeah, most people have nevada-tan in mind when thinking about /g/uro.

I had a backstory for /x/ kinda sorta thought out. Little known fact is that when /p/ was introduced as the new photography board on 4chan, the old /p/ was moved to /x/ for a month before being deleted.

/x/ was re-introduced as "paranormal" because of the popularity of 7chan's /x/, the same day as /tg/ in February 15, 2007. Perhaps her backstory is that she was an adventurous photographer, traveling around to get the best shots, until she visited a particular house, and her whole personality changed. She left 4chan House to seek "the truth" and came back with a different eye and different mannerisms. While away, she studied various paranormal phenomena which is how she came to posses her powers. Unfortunately, her travels showed her the horrible things the paranormal were capable of, so she never feels quite right using what she learned. As for her eye, well, who knows how *that* particular story played out...

Uh, I guess the /tg/ x /x/ pairing also kind of plays into this since the boards were added the same day and are a little bit related.

I like the backstory to /x/. Will there be more?
